Thorin Opens the Door

I'm not gonna lie, I wasn't really on board with the whole "handsome dwarf" thing when Peter Jackson unveiled his cast photos, but after seeing the first two movies I really couldn't imagine anyone else as Thorin Oakenshield With that said, I've been itching to paint the dwarves and I'm so happy to have finished Thorin-- and I'm now looking forward to figuring out who to paint next. I'm also a little bummed because I've left my whole nerd-pack in another state because I had to move and so I'm hoping my deviant art friends can help me stay excited about the Hobbit until the last movie comes out in December!
